City of Fallen Angels (Mortal Instruments)

City of Fallen Angels - Cassandra Clare SPOILER ALERT: If you have not read the previous Mortal Instruments books, do not read this review!Ahh! What the heck? That's it? I want more now!Okay now that I got that out of the way I will get on with the actual review. City of Fallen Angels is another wonderful addition to the Mortal Instruments series. I was skeptical at first because I really liked how everything ended in City of Glass but Cassandra Clare did not disappoint.City of Fallen Angels takes place two months after the ending of City of Glass. Everything seems to be going good until Shadowhunters turn up dead, murdered to be exact. The Shadowhunters are being killed for a reason and now it's up to the old gang to find out why. This book has a lot of Clary and Jace in it but it didn't seem to take over the plot like in the previous books which I really liked. Simon's story was at the forefront of this book and it was very interesting. Some new characters were introduced and I'm excited to see more of them in the next book. Of course all the old characters were awesome too. Alec, Magnus, Isabelle, Maia, Luke, Jocelyn, all except Max (=[ ) are back and better than ever. Obviously Clary and Jace are wonderful too but their story becomes a bit more complicated with this book.Overall, City of Fallen Angels is just as wonderful as I had hoped. May 2012 is so far away and that ending just was not fair. Can everyone say cliffhanger?
